Residents can meet with City staff on Sunday between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm to discuss and also to sample the game. Those who have other plans at that time can fill out the online survey. The City will wrap up their consultations October 30. – Martha and Darren | - Ottawa Stats

Canadian North Airlines has partnered with Air Greenland for the weekly flights which uses Iqaluit as the hub to Nuuk, Greenland. Ticket sales begin in the new year.
Does this mean Ottawa finally has a second non-North American destination? Nope. Greenland counts as North America. (Ollie Williams at Cabin Radio) 🚊 O Train - Local campaigner wants the O Train commemerative plaques removed from each station. Jane Keeler says the plaques honour then-Mayor Jim Watson, then-City Manager Steve Kanellakos, and then-OC Transpo General Manager John Manconi, all of whom were critiqued for their actions by Justice Hourigan in his LRT inquiry report. ‘The last thing we need to do is to thank Jim Watson, John Manconi, and Kanellakos in public – the people who have cheated our city. And we’re still paying, and we’ll be paying a long time. We still can’t get a good ride,’ she says. Keeler would like people to write their ward councillor and ask for the removals.
