| Message from the President |  | Dear members, dear partners, There are only a few days left before our long-awaited get-together! On December 14, we will open International Aerospace Week - Montréal 2020 with the International Aerospace Innovation Forum 2020, held around the theme of “Smart Travelling Rethought.” Given the particular context facing our sector, I firmly believe that this event will be a key moment to take stock of the situation and look to the future, to what lies ahead for our industry. What promising technologies can we leverage for our recovery? How can our companies do well in the aftermath of the crisis? What mechanisms need to be put in place to accelerate the shift towards a greener industry for our passengers of tomorrow? We will be fortunate to be able to count on more than 60 renowned speakers to answer these questions. We will also have the support and participation of several government representatives: François Legault, Premier of Québec; Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of Economy and Innovation; Nadine Girault, Minister of International Relations and La Francophonie and Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration; and Navdeep Bains, federal Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry. They will all honour us with their presence!
