🖊️ Ottawa Carleton District School Board
A petition has been launched asking for the removal of Ottawa-Carleton District School Board chair Dr. Nili Kaplan-Myrth. The petitioners cite cutting short the most recent public meeting and the calling of police on a parent who wanted to know at which meeting were mixed-sex washrooms voted upon. 🛴 E-Scooters
The City of Ottawa's transportation committee is pleased about changes to e-scooter rules and expects them to return to the streets in May. The changes agreed to by the two scooter companies are: scooters will make a continuous sound to warn pedestrians, they cannot be used on sidewalks, and scooters must be parked in designated areas.
