Dear members, dear partners,

Around the world, the economic recovery period has accelerated the shift towards a greener industry that the sector had set out to achieve before the crisis.

The International Aerospace Innovation Forum 2020, held under the theme of “Smart Travelling Travel Rethought,” will be a key moment to take stock of the latest technologies that will help achieve this ambitious goal.

From boarding the green aircraft of the future to the autonomous vehicles and flying taxis of tomorrow, we will discuss in detail the sector’s innovative strength and the leading-edge technologies that will enable the industry to bounce back and emerge even stronger. You will learn how the aerospace industry is mobilizing to build a sector recovery strategy that includes a focus on innovation, transitioning to new business models, and a low-carbon industry, while ensuring the preservation of a highly skilled workforce.

Numerous government representatives have confirmed their interest in this strategic sector in Québec and will do us the honour of joining us at this 7th 100% virtual edition.

The International Aerospace Innovation Forum will also be an opportunity to highlight the strength of Québec’s international collaborations with Japan.

Finally, the virtual business meetings look very promising, so don’t miss the opportunity to plan your schedule now.

Register for this major event of the year 2020 and join us from December 14 to 15.

I look forward to welcoming you all.

SUZANNE BENOÎT

Faced with an unprecedented health crisis, the Quebec aerospace industry is undergoing a period of transition that will have major repercussions on the aerospace ecosystem. The pandemic’s impacts on the industry, the challenges of maintaining a workforce and the emergence of new technologies, particularly clean technologies, are important challenges that affect the strategic directions of the industry’s top players. Our university and CEGEP students will be joining the workforce in the midst of a transitional period. We must therefore reassure them about the future of the industry and empower them to cope with the new reality of Quebec's aerospace sector. Do not miss this unprecedented event in the presence of Minister Jean Boulet. Event in french
