💸 Monthly Rental Report - The average rental in Ottawa is down $11 in June from May. The average Ottawa one-bedroom apartment rent was $2,179 in June, in May it was $2,190. However, in June 2023 that average apartment was $2,146, or $33 dollars cheaper. (Josh Pringle at CTV)
⛺ University of Ottawa Encampment - After 71 days, the encampment at the University of Ottawa has ended. A press release from Occupy Tabaret stated ‘legal action and police violence at student encampments across the country’ as the reason for the abandonment although one organizer said ‘We left because we wanted to … this round of negotiations [has] ended’.
