Day hikes with glacial views
Jasper is one of the best parks to get glacier views securely and comfortably from the safety of official hiking trails such as the Forefield trail, the Toe of the Glacier trail and the Path of the Glacier trail. Check out other glacier-experience opportunities in neighbouring national parks, including Banff, Yoho, Kootenay, Mount Revelstoke and Glacier during your travels. Explore opportunities to experience these incredible places.
Check out an interpretive program
Parks Canada interpreters will be providing campground programs at Whistlers Theatre, including open-air screenings of the film “Losing Blue,” talks, and other opportunities in various locations throughout the park. These programs are open to all visitors and are free of charge. Have a look at the Jasper National Park schedule of interpretive programs and locations.
