• How can the City help organizers minimize the environmental footprint and reduce waste of their events?
• How can the City foster equity, diversity, and inclusion with special event regulations?
• Can regulations support continuing growth in the number of special events held annually?

🌜 Night Mayor

•  How many people have applied for the Night Mayor position? Who knows? The City won’t say. In a statement, the City says that it is reviewing the applications and hopes to make an announcement in April. (Josh Pringle at CTV)
  
  ➕ Related The Day Mayor, Mark Sutcliffe, says that his office was broken into last night. As the Mayor says that it does not appear to be politically motivated, the ottawan will not engage in any Watergate-type puns. For the moment. 

🎨 Wallack’s

•  After 50 years, 90 year-old Wallack’s Art Supplies and Framing has been renovicted from its Bank Street location. But Michael Wallack, the third generation to run the store, is happy about the situation. The new location will be in the heritage building formerly occupied by Foster’s Sports Centre, three blocks down Bank Street. Hintonburg bicycle store Quick Cranks bought the bicycle stock off Foster’s and will open its second location on Cooper Street. (Peter Hum in the Ottawa Citizen)

•  Richmond Road will be closed for four days over the next month due to O Train Construction. Closure dates will be:
