- – The height of the planned new building being constructed by the Shepherds of Good Hope at 216 Murray St. The new building will include housing for 48 Indigenous people who are homeless and spaces for services. - – Mullen is a scientist and director of the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Centre at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Today is Wear Red Canada Day, the sixth anniverary of the campaign awareness about women’s heart health. ‘Historically 70 per cent of research on heart and vascular diseases has been done on men’, she says. Today - Learn to dance and enjoy a romantic evening with your partner at the St-Valentine’s Dance Date Night at Arthur Murray.
- Start the evening off at ByWard Wine Market, which is hosting a "5 à 7" event celebrating wine and romance. Love is in Season will offer participants six wine samples as well as cheese, focaccia and sweets.
- Enjoy a sugary sweet evening at Overflow Brewing, with the We Go Together Cookie Decorating Class. There will be beer, too.
