CEO FARAH MOHAMED APPOINTED TO THE SENATE OF CANADA, INTERIM CO-CEOS ANNOUNCED

Announcement from Mark Fell (Board Chair, The King’s Trust Canada):

“On behalf of the Board of Directors of The King's Trust Canada, I am pleased to share the appointments of the following as Interim co-CEOs: Kevin Uchikata, currently serving as Director of Finance and Operations, and Cynthia (Cindy) Caron Thorburn, currently a Member of the Board and Chair, Audit and Risk.”

This announcement follows the appointment of Farah Mohamed to the Senate of Canada earlier this month. Kevin and Cindy will assume their interim roles as of May 3, 2025.

MEETING WITH THE YOUTH COUNCIL

On April 5th, members of our Youth Council gathered in person for the first time.

The changemakers tackled big questions like how to amplify high school employability, navigating Canada’s regional challenges, and reflect youth voices ahead of the federal election.

Through their involvement in the Youth Council, members play a critical role in shaping our programs, campaigns, and strategies to better serve young Canadians facing barriers while gaining valuable leadership experience.
