The final Exam Jam of the year is next week! πŸ“š

Peers and pros from the Student Learning Hub have put together a series of sessions to help you prepare for final exams.

Exam Jam is an all-day event that aims to help you de-stress, manage your time, learn course content, get support, and recharge. You can pick and choose from a variety of sessions including drop-in writing support, subject tutoring, activity classes, and supplemental learning reviews for specific courses.

Join us on Friday, April 8 between 10 am to 4 pm. Attend one, two, or as many sessions as you can β€” it’s up to you.β€― You can also stop by for a hot drink and a snack!

Study 24/7 in the Commons during exams πŸŒ™ 

The Commons building is open 24 hours a day and seven days a week to support you during the busy exam period. From April 10 to 26, you can study in the Commons building any time during the day or night.

Spin while you study πŸš²

There are active workstations throughout the Library and Commons buildings to help you get in some movement while you study. The stationary bikes on the first floor of the library allow you to charge your phone while you spin!

Take care of your mental health and stop by the free Seed Library πŸŒ±

Interactions with nature, no matter how small, can help boost our wellbeing. And growing a small amount of your own food can build health and confidence! 

Check out the new Seed Library located on the left side of the Service Desk near the entrance to the Commons building. Our Seed Library is a free program where you can select unique seeds to grow at home. When your plant goes to seed, you are invited to return some of the seeds to the seed library to help keep the seed library well stocked!

Calling artists, writers, and creatives! Learn how to make zines, an underground and DIY art form integral to pre-internet queer and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities since the β€˜70s. This free workshop will include a brief history of zines, considerations for zine-making, and time to create your own zines.
