Mayor's Message

Mayor Steve Pellegrini

On behalf of King Township Council, welcome to the March edition of the King Bulletin.

New online booking tool for planning

I’m pleased to report we are now offering online booking for those looking for general planning information.

Residents, builders, realtors, agents, consultants and businesses seeking information from the planning department can visit www.king.ca/AskKingPlanning.

Once on the web page, the customer can select a date and time for an appointment with a Township planner. After providing general information with respect to the nature of their inquiry, they will receive an email confirmation of their appointment time, followed by a reminder on the day of the appointment.

This new tool is another example of our ongoing commitment to enhance citizen-focused customer service.

Mayor’s Celebration of Youth Arts

The Mayor’s Celebration of Youth Arts kicks off this year with an opening reception on Thursday, March 9 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the King Township Municipal Centre. The Mayor’s Youth Action Team has organized an open mic/talent show during the reception.

Students ages 13 to 18 can participate.

The exhibit runs until April 13 at the King Township Municipal Centre. It will feature art by students from Country Day School, King City Secondary School and Villanova College.
