Design Advisory Panel

We are recruiting for one volunteer at-large position on the Design Advisory Panel. The panel considers development permits in relation to guidelines, principles and conformance with the Official Community Plan and reports their findings and opinions to Council. It also provides independent, objective recommendations to the applicant, City staff and Council aimed at improving matters of design that affect the public realm.

Successful applicants will be familiar with urban design guidelines, design principles and have the skills necessary to assist staff in establishing guidelines to ensure that the form and character of future developments is of high quality and meets the needs of the community.

Applications can be filled out on the Design Advisory page on the City website or picked up from Legislative Services in City Hall (455 Wallace Street) and will be accepted until 3:30 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024.
