The 2021 Virtual Québec Film Festival is organized by Georgetown University and the Alliance française de Washington, DC, in partnership with the Bureau du Québec à Washington.

The Metropolitan Museum Presents Surrealism Beyond Borders

A new way of looking at Surrealism and discover some of Françoise Sullivan’s groundbreaking work in a key exhibition section devoted to Automatism. Sullivan was one of the founding members of the avant-garde Automatism movement, and one of the signatories of that group’s 1948 manifesto, the Refus global (Total Refusal). With a career that spans more than seventy years, she’s one of the most versatile and enduring artists of her generation.
