Watching out for your Wifi

Noticed someone going in and out of classrooms and offices with a tablet and a scanner?

Don't worry, it's the UBCO IT Network Team making sure that UBC wifi reaches the spaces people need, and looking for possible interference.

Did you know some home printers and other devices may interfere with our campus networks? Please contact IT if you are having trouble with wifi coverage and we'll  look for possible sources of interference.

If you need wireless for your research please contact rc.sysadmin@ubc.ca.

UBCO Websites on CWL

Admin access to UBCO CMS WordPress websites will no longer use Novell to login. As of March 15, the Web & Apps team updated all sites to use UBC CWL login and password instead to be consistent with other UBC applications such as Workday and Canvas.

Check out the updated documentation on User Management HERE.

If you have any internal documentation that references Novell or other legacy tools or processes, please ensure these are updated and/or removed.
