Through sharing their experiences of resistance and resilience, Trophy and Lady Dia will explore the concepts of white supremacy, capitalism, and patriarchy as current Western cultural norms. Three first-year students meet at virtual orientation. Months later, these three friends continue to find community in each other. Reigster here | FCCS Undergraduate Student Research Awards The Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies is now accepting applications from undergraduate students to pursue innovative and original research as part of their learning experience. These awards provide undergraduate students support to engage in research and creation activities over the summer months. There are two awards available for domestic students for $2,500 each, and one award available for international students for $9,000. *Must be a BFA, BMS or BA student majoring in a program in FCCS. UBCO Recreation DIY wood sign paint night Get ready for DIY wood signs! UBCO Recreation is sponsoring a wood painting event that will instruct participants via Zoom. The 4” x 16” wood sign kit includes everything you need to complete the project. You will learn how to apply stencil, paint and remove stencil, all with colours of your choice to create your wonderful personalized wood sign.
