Boutique Cornerstone is a POP UP SALE of gently used, fashionable women’s clothing. Cornerstone provides emergency shelter and safe affordable permanent housing for women in Ottawa. 100% net proceeds of the sale will provide much needed funding for the emergency shelter and Living rough on the streets takes a serious toll on a woman’s body, health and spirit. Oftentimes, women experience chronic illness and malnutrition.
Cornerstone has the budget for only $4.27 for each woman to eat every day, three times a day and to accommodate up to 61 women each night.They serve three meals a day. Of the $326,000 that they raise every year for critical shelter needs, almost one-third is for food costs.
It is our hope that you will come and support this new social enterprise to raise much needed funds to support the emergency shelter of Cornerstone.
