LifeWorks starts rebranding to TELUS Health

With the acquisition of LifeWorks (UBC's Employee and Family Assistance Program provider) by TELUS Health, faculty and staff may notice some changes to the branding on some of the LifeWorks pages, including the LifeWorks home page.

We wanted to assure faculty and staff that these changes do not affect the services offered by our EFAP provider and that there will be no changes to the privacy considerations we have in place with LifeWorks.

Register for a Group Appointment with the UBC Pharmacists Clinic

This year, the Pharmacists Clinic is offering group appointments for migraine headaches. Group Appointments are designed to bring together up to 10 people experiencing a similar health issue to learn from and with each other.

Group Appointments are held over Zoom for one hour each month, over three months, and are offered free of charge to all faculty and staff at UBC; you can also invite any friends or family who experience migraines. Registrants are asked to attend all three sessions — this will allow the pharmacist to build on previous topics and facilitate a deeper understanding of this complex health condition.

There are 10 spots available for the spring session of Migraine Group Appointments. Sessions take place on Wednesdays from 1 pm – 2 pm on the following dates: April 26, May 31, and June 28, 2023.
