Municipal decision making and interventions have an influence on health protection and promotion, which makes municipalities key partners for the public health sector. The past year has shown that such collaborations remain utterly relevant both throughout the COVID-19 crisis and to support recovery.

But how can alliances with the municipal sector be made?

In this webinar, Florence Morestin (National Collaborating Centre for Healthy Public Policy) and Jason Weppler (Grey Bruce Health Unit) will look into how public health actors can establish collaborations with municipalities—with a practical focus.

This article, published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, is based on the results of a scoping review conducted by the NCCHPP that aimed to identify tools and methods that help integrate health into climate change adaptation and mitigation policies and strategies.
