REMINDER - Water Main Flushing and Fire Hydrant Inspection

Each year, as part of its aqueduct system maintenance program, the City of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue rinses the pipes throughout the territory.

In all, over 30 km of pipes are cleaned every year. The operation consits mainly of removing limescale in the aqueduct pipes to ensure the purity and pressure of our drinking water. At the same time, municipal employees are able to check the quality of the infrastructure, such as street valves and fire hydrants.

NORTH SECTOR
Until Monday, September 23, Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm for the entire neighborhood north of Highway 40.

SOUTH SECTOR
From Monday, September 30 to Friday, October 11, Monday to Friday from 7 am to 5 pm for the entire neighborhood south of Highway 40.

Interventions on the system could cause rusty colored water and/or a drop in water pressure for residents of the area. For the rusty colored water, simply let the cold water run until it clears up. Please note that there is no health risk.
