Health Research Exchange Competition 2025

MyRoad is launching its 2025 Health Research Exchange Competition. The competition invites trainees and early career investigators to propose collaborative research projects in the areas of cardiometabolic health, diabetes and obesity, with the goal of complementing their training path with experiential learning opportunities in another research group (i.e. in another centre located in Canada or internationally).

Health Research Exchange Competition 2025

MyRoad Core Training and Mentoring Program: Fundamentals Level

The fundamentals level of the basic program is available on the RISE platform. We remind you that a $500 travel award will be drawn among those who have completed the program each semester. The forums on Current Concepts in Obesity, Diabetes and Carbiometabolism and on Knowledge Mobilization and Implementation that the level requires will take place later this winter or early spring. Dates will be announced soon, so stay tuned.

2025 Canadian Nutrition Society Annual Conference - Travel Awards

MyRoad is offering 7 travel awards of up to $1 500 to graduates, or professional of academic or clinical training programs whose research are in a health-related area and are interested in nutrition related to obesity, diabetes, and cardiometabolism to attend and participate at the CNS annual conference in Montreal, Quebec from May 8-10, 2025. 2025 CIHR INMD Early Career Researcher (ECR) Meeting

The CIHR Institute of Nutrition, Metabolism, and Diabetes (INMD) will host the 2025 CIHR-INMD Early Career Researcher (ECR) Meeting from June 9-11th at Blue Mountain, Ontario. The overarching goal of this meeting is to provide practical information and networking opportunities that will assist ECRs in strengthening their research careers.

Researchers selected to participate in this meeting will have their travel, accommodation, and meals during the meeting covered.

Anti-racism Training Session

There is only a few spots left to participate to the Anti- racism Training Session that will take place Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Cheribourg Hotel, Orford. This session offered in partnership with Indigenous patient partners from the CAN-Solve CKD and Diabetes Action Canada SPOR networks offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the diverse initiatives, collaborations, and contributions led by Indigenous patient partners from across Canada.
