The staff in the medical imaging department at Kelowna General Hospital knew that ultrasound experiences for both patients and staff could be improved. In the spring of 2018, they held a Rapid Process Improvement Workshop to identify potential improvements with the help of patient partner Leya Stringer.

Patient partners are encouraged to submit abstracts for consideration, either for work they’ve undertaken independently or as an engaged patient partner with a health care organization. Plus, patient partners can RSVP to attend the Forum.
