Delegations and Presentations

Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK)

Several representatives from the RDEK delivered a presentation to Council, offering an overview of the Regional District of East Kootenay and the range of services it provides to our area. The presentation highlighted the regional district governance model, key legislative frameworks, and the specific boundaries of the RDEK. Staff also provided insights into various departments, including Emergency Management, Solid Waste Management, Recreation and Control Services, Planning, and Financial Services. Alternatives to Slash Pile Burning in Kimberley Nature Park
