How Do Bubble Tubing® Curtains Work?
The bubble curtain effect is created by injecting compressed air into the
Bubble Tubing® diffuser installed at the bottom of water. This forms a flexible and continuous barrier of bubbles rising to the surface. The debris deflection, sediment containment, and sound attenuation properties of the curtain depend on the volume of air injected, the size of the bubbles, and the number of diffuser lines installed. For maximum protection, double or even triple configurations are recommended depending on the objectives of each project.
