Bonne fête nationale du Québec à tous!

Chers amis,

On June 24th, we celebrate Québec National Day. This year's theme is "Tire toi une bûche" - an expression dating to times when people gathered around bonfires to listen to story tellers. Anyone could join in the merry circle and would be invited to grab a log, sit on it, and listen in. The bonfire, "feu de joie", is also a symbol of Québec National Day celebrations. It represents communion and solidarity. To this day, many Québec National Day celebrations feature immense bonfires - they are quite a sight! If you happen to be in Québec in the coming week, I invite you to join the festivities - there is something for everyone!

Locally, I am thrilled to announce that Québec National Day will be celebrated *in person* in all six New England States, starting this weekend! What a testament to our friendship and to our shared cultural heritage! We have waited for this moment for so long, my team and I cannot wait to celebrate with all of you across the region!

Joyeuse fête nationale du Québec!
