Volunteers offer low-cost neighbourhood recreation programs throughout the year. Reach out to one of our community associations below to become a volunteer or to learn more about the programs they offer. | College Heights Community Association More Info | | Girls Fastball Development & League Registration Our goal is to empower young girls through the sport of fastball, fostering teamwork, leadership and a love of the game while promoting inclusivity and skills development Registration is now open for the upcoming 2025 season. Register Here! | | Tennis and Pickleball Club Adults and kids are encouraged to come out and try tennis and pickleball We have 5 tennis courts and 6 pickleball courts at the club, as well as a shared multi-use court. We offer open play times 7 days a week with some regular programming on various days/evenings. PGTPC offers lessons for both sports. Fun and competitive tournaments are hosted throughout the season. Memberships are available or you can drop in anytime for a fee. Both sports offer a great way to stay active and have fun! This is on-going preparation for our summer season of dragon boating, including pre-season paddling at the Aquatic Centre leading to early season lake paddling. Check out our website | | Two Rivers Gallery Woodburning with Hailey Smith: Intro to Wall Art & Watercolours (Ages 16+) Hailey Smith, local artist and owner of The Tamed Arsonist, will give various techniques such as line work, shading, transferring images to a wood canvas, oiling your board, drawing on a wood canvas and adding colour using watercolour paints. In this six week class, you will have the ability to complete a set of coasters, and wood-burn your very own wall art to display in your home, or give as a gift to a loved one.
