IT Service Centre Walk-Up Support Summer Hours

May 2nd to August 26th the Service Centre will be open for walk-up support from 10 am to 12 noon and 1 to 3 pm, or by appointment. Regular support hours will resume August 29, 2022.

If you have a computer issue or would like to speak with a technician, please request an appointment using the UBC Self-Service Portal.

If you have a quick question or pressing issue, please call 250.807.9000 M-F 8 am -4 pm.

Campus Printing Updates

We recently updated faculty & staff printers on campus to enable Campus-Wide Login (CWL) credentials instead of Novell.

If you have any troubles you may need to follow these steps or contact UBCO IT Support.
 

TIP: If you aren't able to print,make sure you're on the Okanagan VPN: myvpn.ok.ubc.ca

REMINDERS & TIPS

  • Turn off your computer regularly (best at night to minimize downtime). This helps ensure it gets updates regularly and stays secure. 
  • New or leaving staff? Don't forget to use the IT Onboarding or IT Offboarding forms
  • Moving offices over the summer? Submit an IT Move request for computers & phones
