Another new elementary school opens!

The brand new, 27-classroom Edgewood Elementary is now open to more than 360 students in Surrey. "Opening a new school is an amazing way to kick off the new year," said Surrey Board of Education chair Laurie Larsen.

Kindergarten registration now open 

Children who turn five before Jan.1, 2022 are eligible to begin school in September 2021. All new student registration is being done online this year. (Online application for the kindergarten programs of choice lottery opens Jan. 25).
