Strong and steady health care recruitment progress continues in Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan's Health Human Resources (HHR) Action Plan continues to strengthen the province's health care workforce, supported by the focused efforts of the Saskatchewan Healthcare Recruitment Agency (SHRA), the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and Saskatchewan Cancer Agency.

Complete the Hospital Security and Protective Services survey

Submit by: August 5, 2026

As part of the independent, third-party review of hospital safety and security announced by the Ministry of Health, all Saskatchewan Health Authority employees are invited to voluntarily participate in the Hospital Security and Protective Services survey.

The survey is being conducted and administered by Buckingham Security Services Ltd. and is completely confidential. All survey responses go directly to Buckingham Security Services Ltd.

The scope of the review includes hospital and health centres, safety assessments, the legislative and regulatory environment, jurisdictional scanning, service delivery analysis, training and competency standards, tools and infrastructure, and stakeholder engagement.

The review will not involve detailed investigations of individual incidents, ongoing investigations, or processes currently underway or already completed.

Your experiences and perspectives are valuable in shaping the final report.

Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) Clinical Syphilis Case Studies Module

The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) has developed a new bilingual clinical education resource, Clinical Syphilis Case Studies, designed for health care and public health professionals involved in syphilis screening, diagnosis, and management.

These interactive online modules are available through the PHAC Training portal and include:

  • Case-based learning focused on syphilis screening, diagnosis, and management
  • Multiple-choice questions and detailed explanations based on PHAC’s current syphilis guidelines
  • Links to additional syphilis & STBBI resources

SharePoint Online: Update Your Saved Links

Beginning in August 2026, SharePoint sites that have already been moved to SharePoint Online or archived will begin to be retired.

Staff should use the current SharePoint Online version of their site and update any bookmarks, saved links or shared documents that direct users to the previous site.

Once a previous site is retired, its old link will no longer work.

This work reduces security and operational risks while supporting a modern, secure collaboration platform.

Visit the eHS Learning Portal for SharePoint Online articles, guides and training resources.
