The Alumni Association pledges historic gift to establish the BCIT Alumni Centre The BCIT Alumni Association is proud to announce its largest-ever donation of $1 million to develop the first-ever Alumni Centre. The space, which is now being designed within the new Student Hub building on the Burnaby campus, will be dedicated to fostering the success of BCIT alumni in British Columbia and around the globe. "On behalf of the Alumni Association, I am proud to pledge $1 million to the BCIT INSPIRE Campaign," says BCIT Alumni Assocation President Emil Bosnjak. "Like countless alumni, I have experienced how an applied education from BCIT sets our graduates apart as problem-solving innovators, creators, and leaders that our world needs now more than ever before. Melanie Mark, Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Training, announced the student housing project at BCIT, valued at nearly $115 million.
