Happy International Day of Families! šŸ’ž

The kids in the "Best Start in Christ" preschool in Nicaragua come from households of all shapes and sizes. Read the stories of three youngsters and join us in prayer for their families

Enyel

Enyel's parents are separated with his father now absent and his mother relocated to a different municipality where she was able to find work. Enyel sees his mother only one to two times per month; he is in the loving care of her sister. Enyel has found extended family at school where his social skills are developing in a supportive environment.

JosuƩ

3-year-old JosuĆ© lives with his grandmother and his 12-year-old sister, Sarita. His parents work in the capital city and are only able to return home once or twice per month. JosuĆ©'s mother is in regular contact with his teachers via text. Sarita is responsible for taking her little brother to the school that she also attended as a young child. Material resources are scarce and JosuĆ© is wishing for a backpack of his very own!

SebastiƔn

Always active and excited, SebastiĆ”n, an only child, lives in a home with many children and adults. He is being raised in this busy home by his single mother, Diana. His father does not live in the home, but he actively provides support for his son. SebastiĆ”n thrives at the that school that he has attended since he was an infant!

Thank you for your ongoing care of these young ones and for all of their classmates and their families!

We seek to make Jesus real to these young ones who are the future of the Nicaragua and possibly beyond.

Thank you for your partnership as we seek to build and empower communities (through families) and do so while following faithfully.
