Gentle Movement Workshop - EFry Society

Elizabeth Fry Society is excited to share our Health and Wellness program involving a series of workshops for women and children with a focus on building practical wellness skills, knowledge, and resources.

Our next workshop, titled “Move it Move it!” is on June 26th and will be focused on the benefits of gentle movement to our physical and mental wellbeing as well as a series of practical and fun ways to incorporate movement into our daily lives. Lunch and prizes are included.

This program is intended for women with children however children do not need to be in the individual's care. Women are invited to participate with or without their children present at this event.

Summer Camps 2026 - Abbotsford Youth Commission

Looking for affordable summer activities for youth ages 12–18? Abbotsford Youth Commission is offering a variety of engaging camps throughout July and August for just $40–$50, plus our full-day Leadership Camp. From water games and Pokémon-inspired adventures to creative arts, science challenges, tabletop gaming, and leadership development, there’s something for everyone. Would you like to change your relationship with food? Fraser Health’s Craving Change is a 2-session, in-person workshop facilitated by a Registered Nurse that includes:

  • Changing your thinking, changing your eating.

Every Summer, Fraser Valley Regional Library hosts Summer Reading Club (SRC) for all ages—kids, teens, and adults. Record your reading all summer long for chances to win prizes. Kids earn a medal! Summer Reading Club begins June 21, 2026 and you can sign up anytime this Summer by visiting an FVRL library (including Clearbrook Library, Abbotsford Community Library, and Mount Lehman Library) to pick up a reading record or visit us online. We’ll also have tons of events and performances all Summer long, so check our events page for more information!

Summer Group Events for Kids - Pivot Point Family Growth Centre

Pivot Point Summer Day camps are for individuals with Neurodiversity and are supported at a 4 child:1 staff ratio, with a maximum of 8 attendees. AFU funding can be used to cover the cost, but if a family wishes to use another source that is also possible. We always complete a client risk assessment before enrollment is complete to ensure that the group would be a good fit for the client's needs.
