This month, we invite you to register for Quality Forum 2021 and connect with other patient partners by joining Connections Café, share how Northern Health has kept patient engagement at the forefront throughout COVID-19 and highlight five resources to support your engagement work!

Get Ready for Our New Website!

We'd like to share some exciting news! Last year, we recruited patient partners to join the working group for a project to re-design our website.

Since then, we've been hard at work and are happy to report that we'll be launching our new website in February!

You can look forward to better accessibility, easier navigation, intuitive language and so much more! We can't wait to share it with you.

The moment is here! Register now to join us at Quality Forum 2021 and take part in two days of learning, sharing and engaging discussions about improving the quality of care. Each year, the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council, which administers PVN, welcomes more than 1,200 participants working across the continuum of care from communities through British Columbia.

This year’s virtual Quality Forum promises endless opportunities to learn and connect online with others, including three inspiring plenary talks, a passionate debate, six Health Talks presentations, two days of interactive breakout sessions and more than 150 live and on-demand presentations that highlight work being done to improve quality.

You can now view the full program, including complete session details! We've highlighted a few about patient engagement in this blog post

Quality Forum 2021 has been self-assessed by the Council as Patients Included, which means that it met five clauses that ensure the patient experience will be incorporated.

Among its commitments, the Council is sponsoring the attendance of 35 PVN patient partners who were selected through an engagement opportunity earlier this month. Patient partners were also involved in co-designing workshops and will be presenting in breakout sessions!

Coming Soon! We’ll tell you how to access free, live-streamed sessions and how you can join the conversation on social media.
