If you meet eligibility criteria, you can apply online from your Dossier étudiant or directly in the STM photo studio, located at 1755 Berri Street, Montreal. The latter will be processing student requests by appointment only.

Attention! To order the OPUS card online, you must already have your Polytechnique Montréal Student ID card, because the photo from your Polytechnique ID card will be used by the STM for your OPUS card. The course SSH0345 – Pratique du français écrit is for you if you already speak French and you wish to significantly develop the quality of your written expression (grammar, syntax, etc.). Please note that SSH0345 is not a course for beginners.

SSH3351 – Anglais pour ingénieurs 1 (Elementary level to Intermediate - 1 level) and SSH3352 – Anglais pour ingénieurs 2 (Intermediate - 2 level) are tailor-made courses, depending on your language level, with reminders of grammar and technical vocabulary. They will allow you to improve your understanding of technical documents and improve your oral skills. A placement test will be held during the first class of the semester to make sure that you are in the appropriate level.
