Series of Publications from the Institut national de santé publique du Québec

As part of the Public Health Agency of Canada's Science in French Initiative, the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ) was able to translate various publications on current public health issues into English. The goal of this partnership is to promote the dissemination of scientific expertise to meet pan-Canadian needs. The NCCHPP is pleased to contribute to the efforts of making these resources available in both official languages. Here is the first publication of the series:

Indigenous youth, health, wellness, and social media: a scoping review

Knowledge about young people’s use of social media and their health is still fragmentary, and very rarely focuses on Indigenous youth. That is why this scoping review explores the extent and nature of knowledge about Indigenous users aged 15 to 29, and the health themes that emerge.

Marianne Jacques officially nominated as Scientific Lead at the NCCHPP

We are pleased to announce that Marianne Jacques has been officially appointed Scientific Lead for the NCCHPP!

For a year, Marianne has been handling the responsibilities of this position on an interim basis. Marianne would like to thank the team for their support during this transition, especially Florence Morestin, who took on the role of interim coordinator. Florence has now chosen to fully dedicate herself to her projects as a scientific advisor.

Feel free to contact Marianne for any collaboration project ideas with the NCCHPP; we are always on the lookout for partnerships to advance healthy public policies!
