REGISTER | | Recycling 101 Do you know what can go in your blue bin and what can be taken to depot or store for recycling? When the wrong item or items get placed in the blue cart, it can contaminate a whole load of recycling, which means instead of being recycled, it ends up in the landfill. If you aren’t sure if something can go in the blue cart, check out the What Goes Where Tool on the Recycling page on the City website or you can find the tool on the Nanaimo Recycles app available for download on the AppStore and GooglePlay.
