Call for Expert – Join PHAC’s Expert Roster

PHAC’s Expert Roster is a growing database of experts who can be called upon to provide scientific advice across a range of issues to support public health preparedness and response efforts.

National water and wastewater greenhouse gas reduction survey

Water and wastewater utilities are at the forefront of delivering essential services while addressing growing climate and infrastructure challenges. Share your insights to help inform a national roadmap that supports the sector's transition toward lower emissions, greater resilience, and long-term sustainability.

Canadian Water Network invites municipalities and utilities from across Canada to contribute to the Net Zero Water Roadmap by completing a short survey. The input received through the survey will help build a clearer understanding of the current efforts, challenges, and opportunities related to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The survey results will also showcase the efforts that are helping to strengthen climate resilience. Survey responses are requested by September 16, 2026. Inquiries: dmears@cwn-rce.ca

Call for proposals: Chemicals Management Plan Engagement and Outreach Contribution Program

The Government of Canada’s Chemicals Management Plan (CMP) Engagement and Outreach Contribution Program is an initiative aimed at reducing the risks posed by chemical substances to people in Canada and the environment. This Call for Proposals welcomes proposals that focus on the following priority populations who are more susceptible to the impacts of chemicals: infants and children (0 to 14 years old); youth (15 to 29 years old); pregnant people. Within these populations, there are certain subpopulations for whom there is a potential for greater exposure to harmful chemicals.

Information about the opportunity is also available on Canada.ca. Please email cmp-participation-pgpc@hc-sc.gc.ca to receive instructions on how to apply and a copy of the applicant guide. Proposals must be submitted before 2:00 pm EDT on August 28, 2026.
