The Fraser Highway One-Way Project will improve the area for our businesses, residents, and visitors. It includes replacing aging underground infrastructure and revitalizing the Fraser One-Way with more greenery, new gathering spaces, and better pedestrian amenities.

New concrete cross-walk is being installed between Salt Lane and 204 Street.
Fun Fact:The raised and coloured crosswalk will help clearly mark the area and make it safer for pedestrians to cross.
Installation of storm sewer infrastructure
New underground storm sewers will be installed to improve the drainage servicing for the area.
Fun Fact: Storm sewers collect water runoff from homes and businesses when it rains and move it to nearby creeks and waterways.
Installation of sanitary sewer infrastructure
New underground sanitary pipes will be installed to improve the area's sewage servicing.
Fun Fact: The wastewater is moved from homes and businesses to be treated and processed in treatment plants by Metro Vancouver.
Things to know as construction continues
• Construction will generally occur during the day, but some work may take place on weekends or at night. Noisy construction activities won’t be allowed at night. Learn more about the City's Noise Control Bylaw.
• As construction continues, vibrations will occur.
• Limited off-street parking is available between Salt Lane and 206 Street.
• Work progress dates are based on anticipated construction schedules and may change as work continues.
Businesses are open
Access to businesses along the one-way Fraser Highway will remain open. Customers can enter through the front doors of all establishments.
Traffic control signs and personnel will ensure the safe passage of pedestrians and vehicles during construction.
