Virtual Information Session: 2025-2026 Programming

Land Management Tools & Equipment Funding Program

On April 7th, we relaunched our Tools & Equipment Funding Program. Upgrade your current tools or purchase new equipment to better support your land management department. Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis—so don’t wait!

Tailor-Made Training: Surveying & Mapping

Looking to gain experience with surveying equipment and software? Our Tailor-Made Training: Surveying & Mapping offers funding for professional training to help member communities strengthen their expertise in surveying and mapping.

With limited funding available, we encourage you to apply as early as possible! Let us know what topics your land management team would like to explore and make the most of this opportunity.

Reminder: Understanding Lands Survey Virtual Training

Don’t forget to register for the virtual training Understanding Land Surveys! This session will provide valuable insights into land surveys on reserves, equipping land managers with the knowledge to effectively use related products, records, and systems.

The training will be facilitated by Graeme Sandy, NALMA's Survey Project Manager, with insights from Jacques Desrocher, NALMA’s Land Survey Program Advisor. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your skills and expand your knowledge of land surveys!

Estates Management on Reserve in Quebec

We are hosting a bilingual, in-person training on Estates Management on Reserve in Quebec City in May 2025. This two-day training will provide insight into key principles, best practices, and practical tools for managing estates, successions, and matrimonial real property issues on reserve.

A month ago, we hosted the Indigenous Land Management Gathering for Quebec and Labrador, bringing together land managers and professionals from across the region. It was a great opportunity to connect, share knowledge, and strengthen our network.
