Staff Profile - Pat Wu
Since his teenage years, Pat has believed in strength training as a means to improve sport performance, health, and confidence. He began training friends and family in high school, and his passion has only increased over time.
As a trainer, Pat brings a unique blend of formal education, field experience in various settings, and years of personal experience. He has worked with many different populations, including varsity level athletes, seniors, rehab clients, and youth.
Pat is completing his Masters of Kinesiology this May while working as a graduate strength coach for UBC men’s basketball. This experience has provided him an enhanced ability to provide long term strength and health progression and programming for individuals and groups. He believes that being a trainer is a collaborative role, and that we learn as much from our clients as they learn from us.
