THE HALIFAX ARMDALE REPORT

The Wait Continues

Good day Halifax Armdale,

I hope everyone has had a joyous summer with lots of activities and soaking in the sun.

It has not been the easiest summer as well know – from wildfires to floods, we’ve seen a lot. I want to recognize this community and applaud the sense of unity that everyone shares during disastrous events by being a good neighbour, checking on one another and extending a helping hand.

With August behind us, we look forward to the start of the school year for our children and youth, which is why we’ll be organizing a Back-to-School Drive! Many families in the community need help with school supplies, so please join me in helping lift that burden.

You can drop off any school items to our office at 1 Craigmore Drive, and we will get them to the school to distribute to children who need them.

Sincerely,

Help find Devon Marsman

Devon Marsman has been missing since February 25th, 2022, it is now over 550 days.

I have been a strong advocate for Devon since his disappearance, bringing awareness to the Legislative Assembly and urging local authorities to give his case more attention.

If you or anyone you know has any information on Devon’s whereabouts, please contact the HRP directly: (902) 490-5020 or leave an anonymous tip: 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

On October 7th, Devon Marsman's 18th birthday, his family will be hosting a march at the basketball courts on the corner of Romans and Federal Avenue to celebrate Devon and continue the fight for justice and to find him.
