BC Conservation & Biodiversity Grant now open

You're invited to positively impact British Columbia's environment by applying for the BC Conservation & Biodiversity Awards. These awards offer grants ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 and are open to BC-based charities with initiatives dedicated to preserving the region's natural environment and biodiversity.

The VIMFF 2023 Photography Competition Winners

The Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival is excited to announce the two winners of their 2023 Photo Competition, Paul Zizka and Simon Yamamoto!

VIMFF World Tour

Each year, the VIMFF takes award-winning and other selected films on tour across Canada, the USA, and worldwide. Local communities can enjoy some of the world’s best mountain films, raise funds for local causes, and support talented filmmakers.

Award-winning author tours Northern BC

Ken McGoogan is the award-winning author of fifteen books, including five previous bestsellers on Arctic exploration.

On October 19th and 20th, the University of Northern British Columbia hosts Ken McGoogan for two free public presentations at 7 p.m. in the Canfor Theatre on UNBC’s Prince George campus. Ken will be signing books after each presentation.
