Thank You, BICS Classes!

Last week the staff at the Bowen Library got a surprise visit from Ms. Hicks' Grade 4-5 class and their Little Buddy Program class of Grade 1 students from Bowen Island Community School.

Together they have been working on a project to show appreciation for local businesses they've used during the pandemic.

Library staff were touched to hear some lovely prepared words of appreciation about the Library, and to receive decorated cards and flowering plants that the students grew from seed.

From the Library staff, thank you to these two BICS classes for their thoughtful visit—it sure made our month!
