COVID-19 has you worried?

This special communication bulletin will help you keep pace with the changing situation by answering many of your questions.

You are indispensable for our health and social services system, but your safety comes first!

Thank you for all your sustained efforts. They are deeply appreciated.

This animated clip is part of a series acknowledging personnel in various lines of work represented by the APTS. We will soon be saluting members in nutrition, rehabilitation and radiology.

These premiums are a first step, but another step needs to follow very quickly. The 8% premium is restrictive and doesn’t take into account the work done by certain members, particularly those in labs who are handling hundreds of samples a day, some infected with COVID-19.

Whether you’re working in labs, psychosocial services, rehabilitation or other fields in health and social services, we want to hear from you about the unusual situations you have to contend with at work. Your stories will help us convey the difficulties you’re facing and the measures the government has to put in place to protect you better. SHARE YOUR STORY

We think that the recommendations issued in a new advisory by Québec public health institute (INSPQ) provide greater protection for pregnant workers.

Is your immune system compromised? The recommendations are based on the mode of transmission identified in your work environment (travel-related or community transmission).

If your employer places you in mandatory self-isolation, whatever the date or the reasons, in our opinion you should continue to receive your pay.

In the event that your employer refuses to keep paying your salary, contact your local team.
