Making progress on housing in Abbotsford

Throughout City Council’s 2022-2026 term, we have been working with our Planning and Development Services department, with help from the feedback they receive from the public, to increase our housing supply. Your Voice Matters: Help Shape Abbotsford’s Climate Resilience

The City of Abbotsford is developing a Climate Resilience Strategy to help our community prepare for and respond to extreme weather, utility failures, and other hazards—now and in the future. Thank you for sharing your experiences, concerns, and ideas during Round 1 of engagement; your input has helped shape the draft Strategy.

In April, we will be sharing the Strategy’s vision, big moves, and actions, and we hope to hear from you again. Your input will help us confirm we’re moving in the right direction as we finalize the Strategy.

The City of Abbotsford has partnered with Fundica to help businesses easily find relevant funding opportunities with a free, AI-powered funding search engine. Fundica’s smart search tool connects aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners with grants, tax credit, loans and more.

Neighbourhood Small Grants

In partnership with Neighbourhood Small Grants Abbotsford, Vancouver Foundation and Abbotsford Community Foundation, the City of Abbotsford offers a small grant of up to $500 for you to bring your community project to life. With a Neighbourhood Small Grant applications will open from February 16 to April 13, 2026, and will be reviewed in early May.
