Welcome to the 'Hope and Your Classroom' edition of Myles Ahead's curated educator resources. It's been over a year since this pandemic began, and we could all use a little hope to see us through the rest of it.

Check out the resources below to find out how to help your students to become more hopeful in these difficult times.

  1. This week's first resource is a TEDxKids video of a class explaning the process they used to figure out what hope means to them. You can share this with your class and even ask your class to use the process from the video to decide what hope means to them.
  2. Next we have a resource from Greater Good Science Centre on How to Help Students Develop Hope which provides an overview of the process of developing hope.
  3. Finally we have a pandemic-specific resource, In Schools, Finding Hope at a Hopeless Time.
