Business Resources and Grants

  • Securing Small Business Rebate: The Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation has launched a $10.5 million Securing Small Business Rebate Program, which provides small businesses with funds for eligible repairs for both property crime and vandalism and to implement eligible preventative measures. The BC Chamber of Commerce administers this program. The program's application portal remains open until January 31, 2025 or until the program is fully subscribed. To learn more about making a rebate application, join the information session on Wednesday, July 17.

  • BC On-Farm Technology Adoption Program: Led by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and delivered through Innovate BC. This is a five-year (2023-2028) program funded under the Sustainable Canadian Agriculture Partnership. Providing cost-shared funding to eligible participants, the federal-provincial-territorial initiative aims to strengthen Canada's agriculture and agri-food sector by adopting new technologies on-farm. The first intake of the program funded 54 projects throughout the province and the next intake for the program will be this summer. The next intake will support farmers in purchasing labour-saving technologies.
