Global Affairs Speakers Series Delivered in 2021-22

During 2021-22, the Global Affairs (GA) Speaker Series at Pearson focused on the UWC mission and was designed around three main themes: Sustainability, Equity and Peace.

Together with the GA faculty coordinator, the student-driven GA team prioritized Pearson's worldwide alumni as speakers who are experts in their respective fields and designed and delivered a robust and engaging GA program.

New program prepares next generation of climate solution global leaders

Two recently signed Memorandums of Understanding between Pearson, Vancouver Island University and Royal Roads University strengthen the investment in future climate action leaders. The partners formalized the collective work done to develop Pearson’s new Climate Action Leadership Diploma program. Read more

Gender Equity and Empowerment Day 2022

Last month, Pearson’s student-powered and inspired Gender, Equity, and Empowerment Club hosted “GEE Day,” an annual day dedicated towards celebrating and uplifting the voices of non-men. The team worked diligently for months to develop and refine a day full of educational activities and personal stories to shine a light on the non-man experience. Read more

PEARSON SUMMER OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP DAY CAMPS

Register your child for an unforgettable summer experience today!

During week-long day camps running from July 4 to August 5 2022, kids from across southern Vancouver Island will participate in activities such as hiking, kayaking, sports, arts and crafts,drama, dance, leadership and team building, unique cultural celebrations and much, much more on campus. Parents and guardians will also be able to choose from a variety of safe, supervised educational field trips and other optional adventures such as supervised kayaking on Pedder Bay and swimming sessions at our indoor pool.
