Moving MORE THAN 5 people? Please submit a General Service Request at least 2-3 weeks in advance.

UBC Mac FASmail Change

Effective May 29 Mac users who access their FASmail accounts using Microsoft Outlook for Mac must make a simple account settings update to avoid difficulties searching for recipient names or accessing the Global Address List (GAL). Please note this change does not impact mail flow to and from the FASmail mailbox.

Please refer to these instructions for more details to resolve the issue.

CRP? Please take care

UBCO full-time, ongoing roles benefit from the centrally funded Computer Replacement Program (CRP). At the end of the CRP period, the devices become part of our loaner pool.

Therefore please do not attach stickers to any CRP funded devices, take care when closing laptops (please ensure nothing is still on the keyboard) and use lids with any beverages nearby. We have seen an increase in damaged devices lately which deplete our already limited funds, staff time and our available loaner gear.

1 year data retention for Zoom & Teams recordings Fall 2023
