Aéro Montréal's mission is to mobilize stakeholders in Quebec's aerospace ecosystem to support its global reach, innovation capacity and growth.

// MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear members, dear partners,

We have launched a new edition of the Gilles Demers Awards, Aéro Montreal’s long-standing competition created to recognize the aerospace SMEs that are making a difference in our industry. I would like to draw your attention to this because there are only a few days left to submit your application or that of one of your partners.

Once again this year, three categories are being offered. In the category of growth and wealth creation, we will recognize a company’s economic growth and its impact on the Québec economy. We will also reward SMEs that stand out for their commitment to innovation, taking into account the level of innovation in the company as well as the way it is implemented. Finally, through the International Influence category, we will highlight the actions taken by a company to expand and increase its export market.

The SMEs in the competition always benefit from very good digital and media exposure. They will also be honoured at the Gilles-Demers Awards Gala on December 8, 2023.

This competition is only held every two years, so I encourage you to submit your application or nominate a partner you work with by visiting the competition website.

Quebec trade mission : a high participation rate!

We are thrilled to announce an amazing participation in the Quebec trade mission for the 2023 Paris Air Show Le Bourget! This year, a delegation of 38 companies will participate in this important industry event.

To ensure the mission runs smoothly, accommodation and transportation should be arranged as soon as possible, if not already done. Here are the options available to you:


» TRANSPORT : a pre-registration form for a shuttle service during your stay is available to you. Places are limited and priority will be given according to the order of registration.

• Dates : The shuttle service will offer a one-way trip to Le Bourget in the morning and a return trip to Paris in the late afternoon each day from June 19 to 22 inclusively. Detailed schedule to come.

• Cost : Fees for this service will vary depending on the number of participants and are to be confirmed, but should be between $200 and $250 per person.

• Details : Departures and returns will be from the Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacré-Coeur hotel, 3 Rue Caulaincourt, 75018 Paris.
