Quebec's Fête Nationale Festivities

Thursday June 23rd at the municipal beach, from 5 pm to 10 pm
(in case of rain, at Collège Champagneur)

Come join us, beginning at 5 pm, for an evening of music and fun for the whole family!

  • 5 pm – Méchoui, food stands, reading tent (presented by the Alice-Quintal Library) and more!
  • 5-7 pm – Entertainment and giand board games with Randolph
  • 6 pm – The Pères Pétu's journey in song (family show)
  • 8 pm – Passe-Moé la Puck, a tribute to the Colocs
  • 9:45 pm – Fireworks


La Récolte de Rawdon Public Market | As of June 25th

A true meeting between producers and the community, the Marché La Récolte de Rawdon public market will be back for 10 events. An exceptional opportunity to enjoy fresh local produce, activities and a healthy dose of vitamin D! Open rain or shine!

Recreational and Tourist Site Hours

This summer, come and enjoy our magnificent parks! Admission is always free of charge for residents.

Dorwin Falls Park
Open daily from 10 am to 6 pm (no visitors will be admitted after 5 pm).

Cascades Park
Open weekends only and everyday starting on June 18th | 10 am to 6 pm (no visitors will be admitted after 5 pm). Boat launch and sale of daily permits for boats with 10 H.P. and more.

Municipal Beach
Open weekends only starting on June 4th (depending on the weather). And everyday starting on June 18th | 10 am to 7 pm (no visitors will be admitted after 6 pm).

Offer a free pass to a friend!
Once again this year, we are offering two passes for the beach and Dorwin Falls Park to the property owners of Rawdon (two passes per property). They will be available at the Town Hall beginning in May.

Young and old (even teenagers) will enjoy our themed "5 à 7" with a fun atmosphere provided by DJ Marky! A free snack will be offered to the young participants.

Line Dancing for All

Wednesday June 22nd from 10 am to 2 pm at the beach chalet

Do you like to dance? Come and follow instructor Danielle Côté as she leads line dancing sessions for everyone! What a great way to socialize without the hassle of having to find a dance partner!

This month ,we wish to recognize and commemorate the history, culture, heritage and diversity of Indigenous communities across the country. The Alice-Quintal Library offers reading suggestions that highlight Indigenous literature, to discover its riches and broad range.

The Book Sharing Boxes are Baaaaaack!
What is a book-sharing box, you may ask? It’s simple. It is an outdoor box that provides free access to shared books. Take a book, leave a book!!

Grands Prix Desjardins de la culture de Lanaudière

Prizes totalling $22,500 will be awarded during the Grands Prix Desjardins.

Culture Lanaudière is inviting artists, organizations, volunteers and cultural players to register for one of the Grands Prix Desjardins categories. All disciplines are represented and the stakeholders who support arts and culture in the region will also be rewarded during this exceptional annual event which highlights the talents, projects and contributions of our cultural ecosystem!

At all times, you will find the daily fire risk index at rawdon.ca, at the bottom of the home page.

Low  This is a good time to light your campfire.

Moderate  A small fire is permitted.

High  Only fires fitted with a spark screen are authorized.

Very high & extreme  All fires are forbidden.
